This Privacy Policy describes how AstroX: Space Survival ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application on iOS and Android.
We do not directly collect or store personal information. The App saves your game progress (such as your high scores, chosen player handle, and settings) locally on your device only. However, the third-party services integrated into the App may collect certain data as described below.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App (e.g. game sessions started, waves reached, features used). Firebase may collect device identifiers, usage data, and crash reports. No personally identifiable information is collected.
The App displays banner and interstitial advertisements served through the LevelPlay mediation platform, which includes the following ad networks:
These networks may collect device advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android), IP address, and other non-personal technical information to serve relevant advertisements. On iOS, we request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing your IDFA. On Android, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain any required consent for personalised advertising in applicable regions (e.g. the EEA / UK).
The App is distributed through Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store). These platforms may collect usage and device information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not receive or store payment information.
On iOS 14.5 and later, we ask for your permission before accessing your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalised advertising. You may deny this request and the App will continue to function normally; ads will simply be less personalised.
The App stores your game progress (high scores for Classic and Marathon modes, pattern-family checkpoints, chosen leaderboard handle, audio and gameplay settings) locally on your device using the operating system's standard preferences storage. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the App. The in-game leaderboard is generated locally on your device and does not transmit your handle or scores to any server.
The App may schedule local notifications on your device (e.g. reminders to return to play). These notifications are scheduled by the operating system and do not involve any data leaving your device. You can disable notifications at any time from your device's system settings.
The App is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
We do not directly store personal data. Data collected by third-party services is retained according to their own retention policies, linked above.
Depending on your location you may have rights regarding your personal data, including access, correction, and deletion. Please contact the relevant third-party service directly, or contact us using the details below and we will assist where possible.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
